  • Middlesbrough Football Club Foundation

Here at Design365, we take charity very seriously and recently we have been raising money for MFC Foundation.

Every Friday, in the Design365 towers, we give everybody the opportunity to dress down and be casual for the day. By participating in the 'casual Friday', we ask that staff donate to the MFC foundation box. We will be having cake bakes and other fund raising ideas like fancy dress and sponsored challenges, we will keep you updated on these!

"MFC Foundation was set up by Chairman Steve Gibson as the independent charitable arm of Middlesbrough FC. Though it uses the official Boro brand to engage with various members of the community, MFC Foundation exists as a separate entity from the football club."

  • Design365 helps local charity

Take a day out based in County Durham, offer support services and short break experiences for carers, parents and their families. The charity has recently re-launched their website which has been re-designed by Newton Aycliffe firm Design365. The re-designed website has been donated to the charity and has received very positive comments on the new look. Take a day out wanted an easy to use website which promotes a clear message. The website includes an events page to promote charity days out, charity balls and charity treks all organised by the charity and their fundraisers. The website also links to the charity’s social media pages where their friends can post photos and comments relating to the charity and their events. Take a day out’s new website includes much more detailed information about the company, including the services they offer, events, news and their friends who have helped them across the way. “Design365 is a growing company that we love working with because they take a real interest in the people whose projects they work on. Alan and his team really want to help us and we hope we can help them too, by promoting their company to others.” Peter Sheen, Take a day out. • Design365 donate a website...

Design365, a web design company based in Newton Aycliffe, are supporting a new local charity by donating them a new web site. The charity, Take a day out was registered in late September this year. It aims to provide short break experiences for carers and families with children with additional needs in County Durham and the Tees Valley. The co-founders of Take a day out, Nathan Money and Peter Sheen both live in Sedgefield District. There are six million carers in the UK. Parents of children with additional needs often don't regard themselves as "carers". But, carers are ordinary people whose lives revolve around the needs of others who require a great deal of support that is of a type not provided by the authorities. That’s where Take a day out aims to make a difference. Nathan and Peter originally planned to support carers through the provision of guided walks. However, the needs and circumstances of carers are diverse and the charity now aims to provide short break experiences that parents and families with children with additional needs want rather than are thrust at them. Nathan and Peter always tell people that they have ambitious goals that require the formation of relationships with other people, groups, businesses and charities. They believe that people and groups working together on behalf of each other can achieve much more that working in isolation. They want Take a day out to be as ‘virtual’ as possible so that the greater part of the funds they generate can be focussed on services rather than buildings and infrastructure. “I was really pleased to help take a day out with a free website; we hope the impact the website creates will generate significant funds to help carers take some well-deserved respite.” Alan Foster, Director of Design365. Nathan and Peter really welcome the support of Design365. Nathan said, “Design365 is a growing company that we love working with because they are interested in the people whose projects they work on. Alan and his team really want to help us and we hope we can help them too by promoting their company to others.” Like Take a day out on Facebook.

  • Design365 sponsors Take a day out

Take a day out is a new charity aiming to provide short break experiences for carers and their families in County Durham and the Tees Valley. Nathan Money and Peter Sheen are the co-founders of the charity which was registered in late September 2011. Take a day out have relationships with other local people, groups, businesses and charities to offer services and support to parents and carers in the North East. They came to see us at Design365 for a website consultation, they had a current website, but felt it needed updating. They wanted a site which was easy to use and would promote the charity and also sit along side their current branding. The new website includes photos, events, newsletter sign up facility and links to their current social media pages. After hearing about the good work the charity does in our local community, we decided to donate their website free of charge to help support the charity. As they are a non profit organisation they rely on volunteers and support where they can. View their new site, Take a day out. “I was really pleased to help take a day out with a free website; we hope the impact the website creates will generate significant funds to help carers take some well-deserved respite.” Alan Foster, Director of Design365. “Design365 is a growing company that we love working with because they are interested in the people whose projects they work on.
