County Durham marketing company doubles in size. A leading North East marketing company has grown by 30% in the last year and has announced plans to double its office space for 2017 thanks to new projects with high profile clients.
Design 365, which has been established in Newton Aycliffe since 2004, has seen demand for its e-commerce, SEO and app development services increase rapidly in the last year and, as a result, has taken on four new members of staff. The company also plans to create six new jobs over the next 12 months with turnover now in the region of more than £350,000.
Design 365 is currently based at premises in Parsons Court on Aycliffe Business Park but will be moving to new, purpose-built offices in Newton Aycliffe in the coming year. This will see its office space more than double.
As well as its Newton Aycliffe office, Design 365 has premises at Gateshead International Business Centre. As a whole the company now employs a team of 12 across both sites.
Design 365 specialises in web design and development, the creation of mobile apps, e-commerce and search engine optimisation.
The business was established by former navy paramedic, Alan Foster, who has been in the web marketing field for over 15 years working for a range of blue chip companies, hotel groups, spas and a host of SMEs. In the last year alone, Design 365 has completed high profile projects for the likes of Crafter’s Companion, Kilfrost, CVS Pet Group and NHS England.
Speaking about the company’s growth, Alan said: “We’re really proud to have grown by 30% in the last year alone, bucking the trend of many of our competitors. We attribute this to the combination of our exceptionally talented team, who we’re constantly investing in, and also our no-nonsense approach.
“We have to stay ahead of marketing technology and we believe that we are doing that as there has been a huge increase in demand for our SEO, app development and e-commerce services as businesses continually require sophisticated technology to progress. We’re now in a position to create new jobs as we work towards moving to bigger premises next year.“
